some years ago now,we had country music television broadcasting here in britain.it was a real treat for british fans of the genre.unfortunately after a few years viewing figures for the station dropped and the broadcaster took it off air.several attempts to get the station broadcasting again on digital satellite have all failed.does anyone know if the station still has any plans to broadcast again in the uk,or are we resigned for ever to the occasional shania twain video on vh1.

stop press:found this on th cmt.com website...guess it answers my question!!

''Q. Will CMT Europe or CMT Australia return?
A. No, the international version of CMT was owned and operated by another company. That company changed its name to Music Country and is no longer the name CMT.''
